Here is a very cool new 12 ft skiff design that was launched last week. The hull shape is a radical departure from the most popular Woof design. This new design (by James Francis) has a similar hull form to a Skiff Moth. The boat is constructed from SP Systems pre preg Carbon fiber with nomex cores. The hull weighs only 45 kgs,the skiff is 60 kgs fully rigged including foils and sails. It has a waterline length of 12 ft, an overall length with the pole fully extended of 24 ft. It is 600 mm wide at the waterline. It is 1.8 m wide at max beam. The Big rig is a 30 ft carbon mast, And the big kite is at least 45 sqm.
